The Power behind the music
All my music is based around love. The stories, the emotion, the purpose even.
It's a romantic feeling to be at one of these shows, magical and almost Disney like in its' Fairytale emotion.
The Sound
Inspired by Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys, Norah Jones, Celine Dion and Whitney Houston, Candice's voice is clearly a Diva standard of deep soul timbre.
Accompanied by the piano, there is a beautiful elegance which softens the powerful vocals and sometimes brings a hint of her classical training in those high soft soprano notes and trills.
The Journey
Born and raised on the Gold Coast, Australia the stunning siren made a name for herself as an elite vocalist during her primary school years.
Beginning songwriting at 11, she won her first award for an original song at 16 and went on to sign to a local label at 17.
In 2011 she placed HC in the QMUSIC songwriting awards, became the National champion of iSing in 2012 and featured on The Voice 2014.
Since then she has appeared in multiple televised events as a guest performer and represented the Red Shield Appeal in 2017 helping to raise millions with her song 'Soldiers'.
